This project spanned the entire semester of the Web Design Principles course at the University of Florida. We could make a traditional (read: non-responsive) website on any topic, so I decided to make a review site on escape games. I actually have a team of six friends and family that regularly go to, and beat, escape games!

I started by checking out some inspiration sites. I knew I wanted a single scroll site, with a sticky navigation and a large banner image to capture attention. Colors were selected from the banner image to continue giving a dark, dingy kind of feel. The large blocks of color help differentiate the sections of the site.

I'm particularly proud of the "Review" section of this site. It uses a jQuery plug-in called Filterizr which allows the user to select which type of reviews they would like to see. The site also features a lightbox plug-in, to allow users to see a larger version of the image.
